Project Overview
This project showcases my participation in an interior design competition for the prestigious Baglietto yacht company, where I was honored to receive the GOLD mention. The focus of the design was on creating innovative interior furniture and objects that embody the spirit of luxury and nautical elegance.
Main Concept: KODO
The core concept of my design is titled "KODO," which translates to the essence of the nautical experience. The design is inspired by the versatility and strength of nautical ropes, which serve as both a functional and aesthetic element in the yacht's interior.
Design Elements
Nautical Rope as a Design Element: The use of nautical ropes not only reflects the maritime theme but also adds texture and warmth to the interior spaces.
Furniture Design: Each piece of furniture is crafted to incorporate rope elements, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal.
Color Palette: A soothing color palette inspired by the ocean, featuring deep blues, sandy beiges, and crisp cristals, complements the nautical theme.
Materials: High-quality materials were selected to ensure durability and luxury, including brushed metals, soft and marine-grade fabrics.
Conclusion
Winning the GOLD mention in this competition not only validates my design approach but also highlights the importance of innovation in yacht interior design. The KODO concept demonstrates how traditional nautical elements can be reimagined to create a unique and luxurious living experience on the water.
